DBE was established in the 1970’s. In fact, 1st March 2019 will mark 30 years since Tony Doyle, then Service Engineer, took control of the business.

The current team has grown over many years and have a ridiculous amount service behind them. Some examples are Joanne 28 years, Andy 26 years, Kevin 23 years, Alan 19 years, Kellie 18 years, Ian 15 years Anthony 9 years. This gives our clients a great deal of confidence and continuity as they know we know their business and have excellent knowledge of their products. We are also great supporters of the Apprenticeship scheme, and the freshness that it brings. Virtually every apprentice we have had is now a really important member of the team.

With the vast amount of experience we have built up over the many years, we have developed our solution to be able to offer our clients weekly P & Ls, automated reporting, Powerful Dashboards and have done integrations to some of the industry’s leading solutions such as, Pre Ordering Apps, BI Solutions, Fourth Table Reservations and Hotel Bookings.

Our greatest pride is taken from the times we have supplied a single till to a business and that business has blossomed, with the help of some of the above mentioned tools, into a National brand or multi-site successful business. We supply many household names such as Flamingo Land, Heineken, Revolution Bars, Worldwide Foods, NHS, Manchester College & Powerleague, for example. Due to the large area we now cover, we have to use the most reliable hardware available. That is why we insist on working very closely with the very best hardware manufacturers.

Due to our location, the majority of our business is in the Northwest and we have engineers based in Manchester, North Wales and Yorkshire to service the area. We have very strong relationships with our Clients and our systems can be found in the majority of the bars and Restaurants in Manchester City centre, Leeds & Liverpool such as Rosso, Alberts Schloss, Yard & Coop, Dockyard, Solita, Gorilla, Bubbleroom, Riccis Tapas, Java Coffee as well as many High street retailers such as Worldwide Foods, Corks Out, Manchester Superstore.
